Kamah Alicia Scott originally from Liberia, West Africa grew up in West Philadelphia. She is a freelance writer and author of two titles, Ask Somebody and Rules of Love.

She has been writing short stories and poems since that age of seven. Her first self-published novel is entitled Ask Somebody. It is a story about a young impressionable girl  (Zoë) who goes through an identity crisis juggling her culture and her assumed life (Simone). The book teaches the lesson that sometimes being yourself isn’t so bad. The quest to become someone else can be dangerous. Her latest novel Rules of Love takes readers on another journey.

A NOTE FROM THE AUTHOR:  I have been pushing and paying my dues since 1999. I am a self published author and I am still learning. I was fortunate enough to meet really helpful authors, organizations and book clubs as well as celebs that were honest , kind and REAL.  Thanks to the pearls of wisdom early on and to those that I continue to converse with, I have made it out okay. No one can steal your dream, no one. It is up to the individual to keep pressing on. In this business it is often every man/woman for himself. I am pleased to say that everyone is not like that at the same time, I know that no one can do your work and promote you. It is up to the author to have that drive and determination, to decide if this is what you really want. THIS IS WHAT I WANT, THIS IS WHAT I WILL HAVE.
