Who would ever think that a seemingly innocent radio station competition could heat up with dire consequences, one even being that of murder? 

WYES radio and Force 101 employees’ have been competing for years. Radio personality Katrina Samuels who has a number one radio segment Rules of Love is used to drama with matters of the heart and work. That’s what she does every day at WYES. She has worked hard to attain her position in the very important 2-6 o’clock drive slot. Everything couldn’t be better until she is backstabbed by her protégé Cocoa T who is unwittingly helped by Katrina’s ex-lover Jackson Miller, who battles with his own sexuality and his love and loyalty to Katrina Samuels.  The competition gets ugly when Katrina Samuel’s protégé (Teresa McNeil) steals her job and forces Katrina to seek employment at rival Force 101.  Teresa lives by her own rules either jump on the bandwagon or get rolled over. Being on her side doesn’t mean anyone is safe from her wrath not even her best friend Karen Santiago who lives her life as an unappreciated, kept woman.

As the characters struggle to separate their personal lives from their professional lives, the explosion that happens when the two worlds collide, leaving smokes signals that will be difficult to put out.
